Bio

​Laura grew up in the beautiful lands of the Basque Country, playing music from a very young age.  Over the years she studied and taught herself many instruments until she found her devoted passion for the acoustic guitar. Aged just 18, she packed her instruments, took a flight to the UK and left everything else behind. First in England and soon after in Scotland, step by step, she developed her distinctive sound and guitar technique, built her audience and matured as a songwriter and performer. Building her campervan Izaro and playing in 14 different countries around the world, Silverstone takes her dream to the road with more hunger and verve than anyone.

With influences such as John Butler, Steph Strings, Ben Howard and Bruce Springsteen, Laura Silverstone combines modern folk textures with rock, soul, jazz and anything at hand, creating her own distinct musical blend. This, together with the force of her soulful vocals and powerful stage presence, has made her a must-see live act. With the help of her trusty campervan, Laura Silverstone has become the traveling troubadour she was born to be, taking her music and stories out to the streets, live venues and roads of Europe, the UK and the world.
